The Fine Arts Department at Notre Dame Academy covers a wide range of media and techniques from drawing, painting, and printmaking to sculpture, ceramics (including both hand building and wheel throwing), as well as graphic design and web design. You can find it all here with classes in both semester and full year offerings to meet the fine arts requirement or become a Fine Art four year major. AP Art History is currently available for NDA students to pursue and IB Fine Arts (SL) and (HL) will soon broaden the artistic opportunities available at NDA. Our students have won juried awards in many area art shows and received recognition in a variety of contests.
Art Club is open to all students at Notre Dame Academy who have an interest in art. Art Club provides creative, fun activities for students while offering students opportunities to get to know each other in different ways. Art Club meets once a month to create different types of artistic projects for a small fee per project. Projects such as painting glass plates and creating clay magnets allow students to show off their art skills and explore various media techniques in a fun environment.
